The Physics research Centre was inaugurated by the honorable minister for higher education Dr. R. Bindu on 17/02/03. The minister also unveiled the Solar cell and LED manufacturing hub of the college and congratulated the the department for this initiative which is organised imbibing spirit of state government’s “Earn while you Learn” initiative. This was followed by the inauguration of national seminar on ” Energy conservation and sustainable development” by Shri, Chettayam Gopakumar, Dy. Speaker of Kerala Legislative assembly.
