The Department of Hindi was established with the inception of St Cyril’s College in 1981. It has been offering Additional Language Courses in Hindi for the college's undergraduate students. The department aims to promote Hindi among non-native Hindi-speaking students and introduce them to the world of Hindi literature. With the implementation of the Four Year Under Graduate Programme, the department is providing Ability Enhancement Courses(AEC), Multi-Disciplinary Courses(MDC), And Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC).
